Hey there! I need the braintrust...again! I have been downloading documents originating from a dataroom from an acquisition that need to get ingested into Ironclad. First, there are 3,500 of just this one type of agreement (ugh). Second, the are embedded in a folder, and then a subfolder, and then the pdf (double ugh). I'm looking for a bulk method to extract all of the PDF's to a file folder, and then bulk update from the scan ID # to the record type. I feel like there was discussion on this board about a program similar to Adobe that would bulk update file names, but I have not been able to locate it as of yet.
These agreements generally have a 15-20 year term, so I'm not all that concerned about pulling out individual data points as I would be with new ones, I just want to get them in there with like the counterparty name and record type, and then worry about the rest of it later. Smart Import is not in the budget at the moment. 🙂
Appreciate any low-tech, budget-friendly ideas.
Thanks!
