Hi folks,
In two recent contracts, we've encountered an issue that I don't know how to explain, and I'm wondering if others have experienced the same issue.
In both instances, the contract was generated via a particular Ironclad workflow and looked correct before it was sent to the counterparty. However, when the counterparty returned redlines, it looked like section breaks had been inserted in multiple spots.
The first time this happened a couple weeks ago, we thought the counterparty used some other third-party tool for redlines that could have caused this issue. However, they confirmed they did not do anything but open the document in Word, and also indicated they had seen this in other negotiations with companies using Ironclad.
Despite the above feedback, I have never encountered this issue in 4+years of using Ironclad, so I hoped it was a one off. However, the same thing happened again this week. I filed a support ticket and Ironclad just responded that section breaks were inserted by the counterparty.
If anyone else has encountered this, I'm curious if you got more info on the root cause. Thanks for your help!
