Hi Ironclad Product Team,
I’d like to suggest expanding the functionality of Ironclad Insights to better support the evolving reporting needs of legal operations and cross-functional stakeholders. While the current reporting capabilities are helpful, there’s an opportunity to make Insights more dynamic, customizable, and impactful—much like what users experience with Power BI or Excel PivotTables.
Specifically, it would be valuable to have:
Drag-and-drop metrics and dimensions, allowing users to build customized reports without additional development or support.
Multi-variable filtering and slicing, including by department, workflow, risk level, region, template, and lifecycle stage, to allow for more meaningful and targeted analysis.
Custom calculated fields, giving users the flexibility to define KPIs or formulas based on existing metadata—similar to Excel or Power BI calculated columns.
Department-level reporting and comparisons, to better understand contract volume, turnaround times, and risk exposure across business units.
Trendline and forecasting visualizations, especially around contract flow, renewal activity, or negotiation time over time.
Exportable datasets and visuals that retain applied filters and formatting—ideal for sharing with business stakeholders or embedding into operational reports.
Adding this level of flexibility would empower teams to build dashboards and extract insights in ways that align more closely with how legal teams operate in partnership with the business.
Please let me know if any of this is already on the roadmap—or if there's a preferred forum where I can contribute these ideas further. I'm happy to provide additional use cases if helpful.
Best,
Isis
